Shakeel Awan
Assalam o Alaikum. I am a Folk Singer, Shakeel Awan (پیار کا سفیر)from a village called Nagri Tutial, Abbotabad KpK.
I got my early education from my village and completed my matriculation from there. Music has been my craze since my childhood. I am blessed with a melodious voice by Allah. My passion for music drove me to Rawalpindi where I learned the basic education of Music.
My first performance was in a very popular program "Jamhoor di Awaz" broadcasted from Radio Pakistan Rawalpindi. My first performance was quite impressive as I got an opportunity to perform in another popular "Chanan" where my song "adi adi ratie " kadi uttay till " sadi hawaie rozi" her valy inkar" became a sensation to the people.
